I have problems with my new translator RF800 which are similar to http://www.ectaco.com/ectaco-posts/list/10665.page. In my case PhraseBook doesn't work: when I click on it, there appears the application window with a clock icon in the screen center for a second, and than the screen turns off and again on with ECTACO logo on it (in other words, systems reloads). So I cannot access PhraseBook anyhow.
I've already tried to do reset and to reload firmware, but it didn't help. Since the problem looks like a software one (application fails during its initialization), I would like also to try rewriting the content of the MMC card. Could you send me the link to the software that comes with my model? I've already asked support fot it but the do not respond.

May be you have other suggestions concerning the origin of the problem? It seems that I'm not the first to complain about this.

Dear Friend,

Please try to reset the unit and calibrate the screen again.
It is necessary to tap the target firmly and accurately at each location on the screen. The target will continue to move until the screen is aligned.
