Anybody using one of these? I'm only really interested in it's ability to translate words in Finnish cases into English. Inessive, Elative, Ablative to name just a few of the 15 or so. If it can't do that, I'll have to stick with a dictionary - or maybe I should be looking at a different product - this may be overspecified with it's word recognition and text translation facility etc?

I have the EFi800 and think it is a wonderful helper. I am an immigrant to Finland from Senegal and I was finding Finnish a really hard language to learn. So I started to try to find some helpers and the best one that I found was the EFi800. Since I got it I have been finding it really much easier learn and communicate a really complicated language. It doesn't give all the various endings for words which is understandable when you consider the amount of declinations there are, but it is perfect for pointing you in the right direction. I am up in Oulu and the number of English speakers here is not very large like in the south so this machine has really made a big difference for me. I hope that helps you decide to get one. I don't think you'll find anything better.
