voice recognition and dialect     Forum Index -> ECTACO Forum   Autor Message adamgregory Messages: 6 24/08/2007 03:22:13    Subject: voice recognition and dialect Hi Alexi, thanks for your prompt reply. i have already tried speaking in english and french while in both english to french and french to english and it still doesn`t recognise any of the phrases/words that`s in the phrasebook. i was under the impression that all of the phrases and words in the phrasebook are part of the voice recognition and speach software. also, i was wondering what dialect the french person users because my wife learnt french for 1-2 years in school, and various words like numbers etc are different than she remembers. the dictionary also varies with another phrasebook we have at home? is this the commonly known french and that goes with the other languages? i hope you can shed some light on this for me asap. look forward to your reply.
