Overview

ECTACO International was founded in 1990 and is the recognized industry leader on the market for electronic dictionaries. The LingvoSoft branch has been successfully launched in 2004 and now offers a great selection of translation software applications for Windows Mobile Pocket PC, Windows, Palm OS and even Symbian OS for Mobile Phones. In its 14 years of existence, the ECTACO Company has created 7 generations of pocket electronic dictionaries, including the world-renowned Language Teacher and Partner dictionary lines, talking dictionaries and Universal Translators - capable of speech-to-speech interpretation. ECTACO dictionaries translate and interpret more than 35 world languages and find use in many aspects of life from business negotiations to leisure activities.

The ECTACO Universal Translator UT-203 is a unique speech-to-speech interpreter, able to recognize Russian and English speech, and pronounce translations in German, English and Russian. There are 4 dictionaries installed: English->Russian, English->German, Russian->English and Russian->German. Use this device as a portable foreign phrase reference library or as a voice translator. This model contains 14 different conversational topics which include about 3,000 phrases and expressions facilitating communication in hotels, post offices, banks, stores, restaurants, hospitals, beauty salons, and many other places.

A special textbook included in the package completes the set.
